Semarang, November 20, 2024 – The Vocational School of Diponegoro University received an official visit from PT BGR Indonesia (Persero) for an initial meeting to initiate a potential collaboration between the two institutions. The event, held at the Vocational School Building in Tembalang, Semarang on October 18, 2024, was attended by the Dean of the Vocational School of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si, the Head of the Department of Business and Finance, Dr. Edy Raharja, S.E., M.Si, Mrs. Titik Djumiarti, S.Sos., M.Si. as the Head of the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program at the Vocational School, Mrs. Anafil Windriya, S.E., M.M. as the Secretary of the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program, Mrs. Stacia Reviany Mege, S.M.B, M.S.M as the Vocational School Cooperation Team, Dr. Nurul Imani Kurniawati, S.E., M.M. as the PIC for the Cooperation of the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program, and Dr. Dra. Luluk Fauziah, M.Si as the Head of the Master’s Program in Logistics Management Development Team at the Vocational School, along with the management team from PT BGR Indonesia, including the Head of the Human Resources Division, Mr. Prasetyo Budi Pamungkas, the Head of the Human Resources and Organizational Development Department, Mr. Priyadi Haryo Prabaskoro, the Head of Information Systems and Organizational Development Section, Mr. Azwar Amin, and the Staff of Training and Human Resource Development, Mrs. Nur Inka Lidya Az-Zahra.
This visit marks the initial step in exploring strategic collaboration with the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program. The discussions focused on potential synergies in curriculum development based on industry needs, student internship programs, and workforce training to enhance human resource competencies in the logistics sector.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si, expressed appreciation for PT BGR Indonesia’s attention to vocational education. “This collaboration will open up great opportunities for our students to gain direct experience in the logistics industry, while also contributing to the advancement of the national logistics sector,” he said.
Meanwhile, a representative from PT BGR Indonesia emphasized the importance of collaboration with higher education institutions such as Diponegoro University to address the challenges of the ever-evolving logistics sector. “We believe that this collaboration will not only enhance human resource quality but also strengthen PT BGR Indonesia’s role in creating innovative and sustainable logistics solutions,” said the PT BGR Indonesia representative.
The event is expected to lead to the signing of an initial commitment as the first step toward establishing a stronger partnership, including plans for future workshops and joint training programs.
