Semarang, the D4 Management and Logistics Administration Study Program again held a visiting professor series #3 event with the theme “Logistics and SCM Research Discussion”. The event was held online on Thursday, December 2, 2021. The invited academics were still the same as in the previous series, namely Prof. Joachim Ehrenthal, Ph.D and John Paul Manning, Ph.D from the University of Applied Science and Arts Northwestern, Switzerland. this event was moderated by Stacia Reviany Mege, SE, MSM who is a teaching staff in the D4 Management and Logistics Administration Study Program.

The visiting professor program is an annual agenda organized by the D4 Management and Logical Administration Study Program. The benefits to be achieved in this activity, apart from improving the quality of student education, are to improve lecturers’ scientific writing abilities. With this collaboration, it can also build international academic cooperation relationships and improve the reputation of Diponegoro University

The first session began with the presentation of material by Prof. Joachim Ehrenthal, Ph.D, then followed by a panel by John Paul Manning, Ph.D. The material presented was related to the service Dominant Logic (SDL) approach in business and marketing. Then a discussion session where many potential researches that might be developed in the logistics business and the possibility of research collaboration between countries in logistics science are presented which are relatively new in Indonesia.
