The Department of Business and Finance at Diponegoro University’s Vocational College, specifically the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program, recently held a webinar themed “Integrating Physical and Mental Health: The Key to Successful Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the Workplace.” This theme was chosen to help students understand the key factors for successfully implementing OHS in the workplace.

The event was conducted online, featuring two topics and two speakers. The first topic was “Strategies for Implementing OHS in Warehousing: Best Practices for Preventing Injuries and Accidents,” presented by the reputable Dr. Putri Ayuni Alayyannur, S.KM., M.KKK. This topic covered the definition of OHS, various OHS objectives, and how to implement OHS in the workplace.

The second topic was “Managing Psychosocial Factors to Optimize Workplace Health in the Logistics Sector,” presented by Dr. Sisca Mayang Phuspa, S.KM., M.Sc. This topic discussed hazard factors, impacts on workers and companies, and how companies can address these issues.

The webinar “Integrating Physical and Mental Health: The Key to Successful Implementation of OHS in the Workplace” provided participants with an exceptional opportunity to deepen their knowledge about implementing OHS in the workplace and emphasized that OHS in warehousing is crucial for protecting employees, reducing accidents, and maintaining productivity. Implementing OHS is essential in the warehousing sector.
